THis thing runs butter smooth on my machine, and has that I dunno, lets try this. This is no casual game with which you may start to play immediately. It has a steep learning curve. I found manual pages in 3 PDF files. So if you prefer hard copy manuals you'd better start saving your ink and paper now.
If there are printed manuals available for sale I haven't found them. The graphics and sound effects work well on my machine. The realism is impressive. The stereo sound is also realistic. The jet sounds increase and decrease as the planes do fly-bys. But I lucked out; coincidentally I had just happened to upgrade my computer before I acquired the game. But I have experienced no negative effects as a result of that. Although I have seen references in other reviews regarding the use of a joystick, I have yet to find directions for converting commands from the mouse and keyboard to my joystick.
If you know where I can find that information I would appreciate you forward the information to me. The game or simulation, whichever you prefer is primarily devoted to the Russian perspective, using mostly Russian aircraft. I found that to be most intriguing.
Check them out. I doubt I will ever be able to assume the level of expertise that is displayed there.
